To the editor:
This letter is directed to each Logan County
Republican primary voter who will be voting locally on Feb. 5, 2008.
In my opinion, Logan County residents cannot afford
to give another four-year term to the present state's attorney, Tim
Huyett. If you personally do not know why we need to replace Tim
Huyett, then please ask your neighbors, your friends or your local
relatives so they can give you some important reasons for the needed
change in leadership in the states attorney's office.
Because the local Democratic Party has not fielded a
candidate for the state's attorney position, the winner of the Feb.
5 Republican primary contest for Logan County state's attorney
between Tim Huyett and Michael McIntosh will become our next state's
attorney. In order for all of us to receive change, we Republicans
must vote for change on Feb. 5.
Please join me in voting for this needed change by
replacing State's Attorney Huyett so we can continue the job of
cleaning out the Logan County Courthouse. We recently got rid of
Judge Donald Behle; now let's get rid of State's Attorney Tim Huyett.
Respectfully yours,
Les Van Bibber
