Wheat, Soybeans Lower on CBOT

[January 05, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agricultural futures settled mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery fell 13.5 cents to $9.315 a bushel; March corn climbed 0.75 cent to $4.6675 a bushel; March oats gained 4.25 cents to $3.2975 a bushel; March soybeans fell 5 cents to $12.625 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures decreased on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle fell 0.22 cent to 94.55 cents a pound; January feeder cattle dropped 1.48 cent to $1.0032 a pound; February lean hogs fell 0.07 cent to 56.40 cents a pound; February pork bellies lost 0.58 cent to 84.12 cents a pound.
