To the editor:
Jan Schumacher, a candidate in the Feb. 5 Republican primary
election, promises to bring new energy and enthusiasm to the Logan
County Board. With her interest in education programs for public
officials, Jan will be a strong link to board members throughout the
state and nation.
A vibrant county board can set the tone for Logan County. Through
careful stewardship and through policies that support smart growth,
the board can improve the county's financial health.
But for that to happen, the board must have more members who
believe strongly in our future.
