Agricultural Prices Fall on CBOT

[January 08, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agricultural futures traded lower Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery fell 28.5 cents to $9.03 a bushel; March corn lost 0.5 cent to $4.6625 a bushel; March oats lost 3.25 cents to $3.265 a bushel; March soybeans dropped 12.75 cents to $12.4975 a bushel.

Beef futures rose and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle added 0.05 cent to 94.60 cents a pound; January feeder cattle rose 0.10 to $1.0042 a pound; February lean hogs lost 0.70 cent to 55.70 cents a pound; February pork bellies gained 0.08 cent to 84.20 cents a pound.
