Agricultural Prices Slip on CBOT

[January 10, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agricultural futures closed lower Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery fell 18 cents to $8.895 a bushel; March corn shed 1.5 cents to $4.7725 a bushel; March oats lost 5 cents to $3.275 a bushel; January soybeans slipped 4.5 cents to $12.625 a bushel.

Beef futures fell and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle lost 0.80 cent to 93.27 cents a pound; January feeder cattle fell 0.07 cent to $1.0015 a pound; February lean hogs added 0.65 cent to 56.52 cents a pound; February pork bellies gained 0.65 cent to 85.22 cents a pound.
