Agricultural Futures Fall on CBOT

[January 12, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agricultural futures traded higher Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery jumped 26.75 cents to $9.0925 a bushel; March corn added 20 cents to $4.95 a bushel; March oats climbed 9 cents to $3.36 a bushel; January soybeans surged 38.5 cents to $12.9875 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle fell 1.85 cents to 91.35 cents a pound; January feeder cattle lost 2.25 cents to 99.50 a pound; February lean hogs slipped 1.52 cents to 54 cents a pound; February pork bellies fell 0.40 cent to 84 cents a pound.
