[January 14, 2008]  Early voting for the Feb. 5 general primary election in Logan County will be conducted Jan. 14-31 at the Logan County clerk's office, Room 20 in the Logan County Courthouse, 601 Broadway St., between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Any registered voter in Logan County may use this location for early voting.

What is early voting? Early voting allows all registered voters to cast their ballot prior to the election day by voting at a pre-designated site named by the county clerk. Early voters must be registered and present a valid picture ID showing their current voter registration address. Unlike absentee voting, a voter does not need a reason to early vote.

Any questions concerning voting may be directed to the county clerk's office, 217-732-4148.
