Wheat for March delivery fell 5.5 cents to $9.265 a bushel; March corn dropped 6.5 cents to $5.025 a bushel; March oats slipped 8 cents to $3.215 a bushel; March soybeans lost 24.5 cents to $12.77 a bushel.
Beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
February live cattle fell 0.75 cent to 90.05 cents a pound; January feeder cattle dropped 0.83 cent to 96.97 cents a pound; February lean hogs fell 0.20 cent to 54.45 cents a pound; February pork bellies lost 1.18 cent to 83.47 cents a pound.
