Agricultural Futures Mostly Down on CBOT

[January 19, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agricultural futures settled mostly lower Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 22 cents to $9.625 a bushel; March corn dropped 3.75 cents to $4.9825 a bushel; March oats lost 2.5 cents to $3.195 a bushel; March soybeans fell 7 cents to $12.64 a bushel.

Beef futures rose and pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle increased 0.10 cent to 91.00 cents a pound; January feeder cattle climbed 0.62 cent to 97.67 a pound; February lean hogs fell 0.23 cent to 54.97 cents a pound; February pork bellies were unchanged at 84.20 cents a pound.
