Please accept this letter as a formal endorsement from WATCH
Clinton Landfill for Logan County Board Chairman Dick Logan. WATCH
commends Mr. Logan for being a strong advocate of public health and
safety on behalf of the residents of Logan County and central
Illinois. Dick Logan's efforts to formally oppose a proposed
chemical waste landfill have assisted our organization and have
helped to better protect the community drinking water supply from
toxic chemical waste. These actions are commendable and speak to his
commitment toward representing the best interests of the community.
It is without hesitation that our organization endorses Mr. Logan
and strongly agrees that he deserves to continue serving on the
county board for another term as a result of his efforts.
