Agricultural Futures Fall on CBOT

[January 23, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agricultural futures ended lower Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery fell 28.5 cents to $9.34 a bushel; March corn lost 9.25 cents to $4.89 a bushel; March oats shed 6 cents to $3.135 a bushel; March soybeans slipped 24.5 cents to $12.395 a bushel.

Beef futures traded higher and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle rose 0.02 cent to 91.02 cents a pound; January feeder cattle added 0.38 cent to 98.05 a pound; February lean hogs gained 0.30 cent to 55.27 cents a pound; February pork bellies slipped 0.25 cent to 83.95 cents a pound.
