Dana Hudson has returned to her
Lincoln real estate office after attending a course of advanced
education for the professional real estate agents. Hudson is a
REALTORŪ with RE/MAX Hometown Realty in Lincoln, IL.
Hudson participated in the Graduate
REALTORŪ Institute of Illinois held November 26-29, 2007, at the
Doubletree Hotel and Conference Center in Bloomington, Illinois. She
completed Course I of the Institute, which examines specialized
areas of real estate practice. "Networking and brainstorming with
other successful REALTORSŪ will help my clients buy and sell real
estate more effectively. The practical advice of Top Producers from
across the country is priceless," said Hudson.
The Institute is conducted each
year by the Illinois Association of REALTORSŪ (IAR) for the benefit
of its 60,000 members. Attendance is voluntary, and successful
completion of the three undergraduate courses leads to the
professional designation of GRI, Graduate REALTORŪ Institute. Each
of the courses covers different aspects of the real estate industry,
and goes into more detail than is required by the State of Illinois
Real Estate licensing law. In Illinois, fewer than 10 percent of IAR
members have earned this prestigious designation. Institute courses
include advanced material about such subjects as contract law,
professional standards, sales and marketing, finance and risk
reduction. Institute faculty members come from across the nation.
Each is a recognized authority in the practice of real estate,
financing and law, as well as being an experienced instructor.
Additional information about the Institute and other educational
opportunities for professional real estate agents may be obtained by
contacting the Illinois Association of REALTORSŪ at 800/252-2910 or
