Agricultural Futures Higher on CBOT

[January 25, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agricultural futures closed higher Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 4 cents to $9.09 a bushel; March corn climbed 20 cents to $4.8925 a bushel; March oats added 8.5 cents to $3.165 a bushel; March soybeans surged 41 cents to $12.305 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle added 0.67 cent to 91.12 cents a pound; January feeder cattle rose 0.45 cent to 98.80 cents a pound; February lean hogs rose 0.75 cent to 56 cents a pound; February pork bellies gained 0.82 cent to 84.62 cents a pound.
