Agricultural Futures End Higher on CBOT

[January 26, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agricultural futures closed higher Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery jumped 24 cents to $9.33 a bushel; March corn climbed 9 cents to $4.9825 a bushel; March oats added 3.75 cents to $3.2025 a bushel; March soybeans rose 12.5 cents to $12.43 a bushel.

Beef futures ended mixed and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle added 0.28 cent to 91.40 cents a pound; January feeder cattle fell 0.20 cent to 98.60 cents a pound; February lean hogs rose 0.20 cent to 56.20 cents a pound; February pork bellies gained 1.25 cent to 85.87 cents a pound.
