Dale Bassi of Bassi Construction will serve as
chairman of the task force. The meeting is open to the public.
Participants will pool ideas and resources to establish a plan for
developing off-road bike paths. Attending the meeting in no way
obligates a participant to continue an active role with the council.
"We have some catching up to do here in Logan County," says Bassi, a
local bike enthusiast. "Most communities are ahead of us in this
area. Bike paths improve a community's quality of life, and they are
a draw for recreational tourism. They also promote physical
fitness."
People interested may call the chamber of commerce, 735-2385, for
more information.
