Dehner Earns Certified Financial Planner Designation

[January 29, 2008]  Philip M. Dehner of the Lincoln office of A.G. Edwards recently earned the designation of Certified Financial Planner.

As a CFP professional, Dehner can now offer general personal financial planning and implementation (both short- and long-term), investment and risk management advice, retirement planning counseling, estate planning, insurance evaluation, and comprehensive portfolio reviews.

To become a CFP professional, Dehner had to demonstrate ability to analyze and develop personal financial plans. He also had to successfully complete a series of rigorous financial planning courses and examinations offered by the college of financial planning.

Dehner lives in Lincoln with his wife. He has been with A.G. Edwards for 10 years.

For the seventh consecutive year, A.G. Edwards has appeared in Training magazine's listing of the top corporate education programs in the country. For the "2007 Training Top 125," A.G. Edwards ranked 69th in the survey's seventh annual list, which highlighted the firm's new comprehensive certification programs that provide a curriculum for high-potential project leaders to develop expertise.*
