Wheat for March delivery rose 19 cents to $9.82 a bushel; March corn climbed 1 cent to $5.0325 a bushel; March oats added 3 cents to $3.26 a bushel; March soybeans increased 5.25 cents to $12.59 a bushel.
Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
February live cattle increased 0.90 cent to 91.65 cents a pound; January feeder cattle added 0.05 cent to 99.60 cents a pound; February lean hogs climbed 0.10 cent to 57.35 cents a pound; February pork bellies gained 1.85 cent to 90.10 cents a pound.
