Agricultural Futures Mostly Lower on CBOT

[January 31, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agricultural futures traded mostly lower Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery fell 21.5 cents to $9.225 a bushel; March corn lost 2.5 cents to $4.985 a bushel; March oats slipped 1.25 cents to $3.23 a bushel; March soybeans added 9 cents to $12.7575 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle rose 0.25 cent to 91.40 cents a pound; January feeder cattle added 0.1 cent to 99.65 cents a pound; February lean hogs gained 0.45 cent to 58.45 cents a pound; February pork bellies climbed 2.17 cents to 93.02 cents a pound.
