The Cellular Connection connects with Lincoln

[July 02, 2008]  Friday was the grand opening of the Cellular Connection store. Located at 1275 Woodlawn Road, next to Long John Silver's, the store is an authorized Verizon Wireless and Dish Network agent.

Lincoln residents probably will recognize the location as the previous home of Ram Communications.

Local resident Carrie Fights is the new store's manager, with Cara Barr and Michelle Bonaparte helping serve clients with their communication needs.

The business is one of 130 locations operated by Moorehead Communications of Marion, Ind., which is the largest Verizon Wireless "premium agent" in the Midwest. A premium retailer means their clients have more options for customer service issues, warranty, and they offer an in-store protection plan on cell phones.

Cellular Connection also is a leading installer of Dish Network packages throughout the area as well. Installers of Dish are trained, certified Dish Network installers, Fights wanted to point out.

Fights said that the latest new technology in wireless is the new VZ Navigator by Verizon. With this new GPS device you can get turn-by-turn voice directions, view maps, find points of interest and have all the features of an advanced navigation system right on your phone. The store is offering a 30-day free trial on the system, and you can contact them for more details at 732-2900.
