Man
arrested in rural Atlanta stabbing

On Monday at 2:57 p.m., Logan
County E-911 received a call of a stabbing at 1560 2575th St.,
Atlanta. Responding to the call were Logan County deputies, Atlanta,
Armington and state police, as well as the Armington Rescue Squad
and Logan County Paramedics.

Adam C. Graber, 27, was arrested by police at the scene for
aggravated assault with a weapon toward police, armed violence and
resisting arrest. The 56-year-old male victim was transported to
Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital by Logan County Paramedics for
treatment of a stab wound. He was later transferred to a Springfield
hospital for further treatment.
Graber remains in custody at the Logan County Jail, where he is
being held in lieu of bond, which has been set at $1,000,000 (10
percent to apply).
The incident remains under investigation by the Logan County
sheriff's office. No further information may be released at this
time. No court date has been set.
