Agriculture futures open trading mixed in Chicago

[July 11, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded mixed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery fell 9 cents to $8.05 a bushel; July corn lost 8.5 cents to $6.745 a bushel; July oats traded flat at $4.235 a bushel; July soybeans added 14 cents to $15.92 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose 0.47 cent to $1.0302 a pound; August feeder cattle gained 1 cent to $1.139 a pound; July lean hogs rose 1.18 cents to 73.85 cents a pound; July pork bellies added 0.95 cent to 65.1 cents a pound.
