[July 17, 2008]  WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin authorities say an Iron Mountain, Mich., woman tried to get out of a drunken driving arrest by offering sex and $10,000 to a police officer.

Witnesses called police last Friday when they saw a suspected intoxicated driver with the Michigan license plate "TROUBLE" leave a Wisconsin Dells parking lot.

A criminal complaint said 30-year-old Elizabeth Ann Kommes was given a sobriety test, was arrested, then made her offer.

Kommes is charged with drunken driving as a fifth offense, bribing a public official and driving with a revoked license.

A message was left for Kommes at her Iron Mountain residence on Wednesday.
