Lincoln Police Department reports Vehicle damage occurred
between Saturday, July 19, and Sunday, July 20; Third Street,
Lincoln
Dustin S. Kelsey, 20-year-old male, Lincoln; 2008 Chevy Aveo
Kelsey parked the vehicle in front of his residence at 4:30 p.m.
on July 19. He returned to his vehicle at 5:30 p.m. on July 20,
noticing moderate damage to the driver’s side rear fender and
driver’s side door.

Vehicle damage on Friday, July 18, 9:28 p.m.; at Keokuk and
Sherman streets
Stephen F. McCabe, 56-year-old male, 56, Forsyth; driving 2008
Honda Gold Wing
McCabe stated he was westbound on Keokuk Street when someone on a
bicycle northbound on Sherman Street rode in front of him. In order
to avoid hitting the bicycle, McCabe put the motorcycle on its side,
causing moderate damage to all areas of the motorcycle. A witness,
traveling eastbound on Keokuk, reported not seeing the bicycle but
said it did look like McCabe maneuvered as if trying to avoid
something.
