Agriculture futures close trading mixed on CBOT

[July 31, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery fell 4.25 cents to $7.8775 a bushel; December corn fell 4.25 cents to $7.8775 a bushel; December oats added 0.25 cent to $4.045 a bushel; November soybeans added 14 cents to $14.05 a bushel.

Beef futures traded higher and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose 0.32 cent to 97.87 cents a pound; August cattle added 0.25 cent to $1.1252 a pound; August lean hogs rose 0.85 cent to 78.87 cents a pound; August pork bellies fell 2.05 cents to 70 cents a pound.
