[June 03, 2008]  Law enforcement and emergency workers in the field reported scattered areas of high winds and power outages Tuesday throughout Illinois. Heavy rains have led to localized flooding across roadways, with at least one washed-out culvert near Atlanta. Streams are expected to continue to rise.

Motorists are urged to use caution.

Another large area of severe weather will move into Logan County around 10 a.m. More severe weather is anticipated between the hours of 4 p.m. and midnight.
