ACTIVITIES OF CITY ATTORNEY

Calendar Year 2007

During calendar year 2007, as City Attorney I performed the following services on behalf of the City:

1. I have filed approximately 87 Ordinance violation cases with the Associate Division of the Circuit Court, all of which are being prosecuted or plea agreements have been entered into concerning the same.

2. I have prepared 28 Ordinances and one Resolution as requested by the City Council.

3. I have attended all but two or three regularly scheduled City Council meetings.

4. I have attended numerous Zoning Board of Appeals and Planning Commission meetings.

5. I have worked with Dave Kitzmiller and Mark Mathon on various matters pertaining to public facilities, projects, or citizen matters.

6. I have dealt with numerous citizens with respect to City matters.

7. I have filed Answers and appeared on behalf of the City in numerous mortgage foreclosure actions in which the City has a sewer lien.

8. I have prosecuted one liquor violation before the Lincoln Liquor Commission.

9. I worked on the Bond Issue for the City of Lincoln for the CISA Bond Project.

10. I handled multiple Grievances.

11. I worked on the annexation of St. Clara's Manor property.

12. I have prepared Leases for the City, such as Farm Leases.
