Accident reports for Thursday, June 19

Vehicle damage on Monday, June 16, on Pulaski Street

Unit 1: Unknown

Unit 2: Luster, Joshua E., 17-year-old male, Clinton; 2008 Ford Taurus

The unknown vehicle was parked on Pulaski Street, facing east. Luster was parked behind the unknown driver on Pulaski Street. Luster was sitting in his vehicle when the unknown driver backed into his car. The unknown driver then drove off. Luster described the unknown vehicle as a white Chevy Suburban.

Crash on Monday, June 16, 10:10 p.m., at South Hamilton and Broadway.

Unit 1: Amanda K. Karbowski, 30-year-old female, Lincoln; driving a 1994 Lincoln Towne Car

Karbowski's vehicle was traveling north on South Hamilton between Pulaski and Broadway. Witnesses said it looked as if she was attempting to make a U-turn to head back toward Broadway.  The driver straightened out her vehicle and ran through the front window of Sheley F.S. Service, located at 801 Broadway St., causing extensive damage to the inside of the store and building unit. The passenger was injured but refused treatment on scene. The driver was too intoxicated to report the accident. 

Karbowski was ticketed.

Crash on Tuesday, June 17, 4 p.m., at South Elm Street

Unit 1: Charlene A. Vincent, 63-year-old female, Lincoln; driving a 1993 Toyota Xtra Cab

Vincent's vehicle was unoccupied and parked in the yard 529 S. Elm St.  The car was put into motion in an unknown manner and rolled backward into a tree.

  • Hashman, Rodney J., 33-year-old male, Lincoln; Class A misdemeanor -- domestic battery

Logan County Sheriff's Department reports for Thursday, June 19

  • Nichols, Carson W.; felony -- aggravated battery, criminal damage to property

  • Timms, Thad Lee, 27-year-old male, Emden; failure to appear -- DUI

Logan County Sheriff's Department reports for Wednesday, June 18

  • Pate, Kenneth W., 45-year-old male, Bloomington; misdemeanor -- possession drug paraphernalia, possession of cannabis 22.5 grams

  • Shreve, Nathaniel E., 20-year-old male, Lincoln; possession of cannabis 10 to 30 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia

  • Warner, Karl D., 25-year-old male, Mason City; traffic -- driving while license suspended
