[June 19, 2008]  SOUTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. (AP) -- The morning rush hour finds plenty of people in the drive-through lane at the McDonald's on busy Route 1 in South Brunswick. On Wednesday, a small bear also strolled through the lane.

Police say they got three calls from motorists about 9 a.m. about the bear, which appears to be headed north in woods along the highway.

The bear appears to be young and may have been the same animal spotted a day earlier near the Route 27 boundary with Franklin Township.

Police say bears are unusual but not rare in the central New Jersey township.
