[June 21, 2008]  (AP)  Cloudy and wet conditions were to continue across the Northeast on Saturday. There was a chance of thunderstorms, particularly in the Ohio Valley. Highs were to be in the 70s and 80s.

The Southeast was to get warm, moist air from the Gulf, possibly fueling severe thunderstorms. Temperatures were to reach the mid 80s and the 90s.

The Central Plains were expected to be very warm and clear, and there was also the chance of thunderstorms there. Temperatures were expected to be in the 80s and 90s.

The Northwest was to be cool and wet, with possible thunderstorms. Temperatures were to cool, with the Pacific Northwest only reaching the 60s.

The Southwest was to stay hot and dry. Temperatures were to reach the 90s and 100s, with desert areas reaching 110s.
