Agriculture Futures Rise on CBOT

[March 04, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded higher Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery jumped 16.5 cents to $11.025 a bushel; March corn gained 9.5 cents to $5.555 a bushel; March oats increased 12 cents to $4.34 a bushel; May soybeans advanced 23 cents to $15.595 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle lost 1.67 cents to 92.65 cents a pound; March feeder cattle fell 1.98 cents to $1.0167 a pound; April lean hogs slipped 1.15 cents to 58.80 cents a pound; March pork bellies shed 2.40 cents to 85.20 cents a pound.
