Agriculture Futures Fall on CBOT

[March 05, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded lower Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery lost 15 cents to $10.875 a bushel; March corn shed 12.5 cents to $5.43 a bushel; March oats declined 17.5 cents to $4.165 a bushel; May soybeans plummeted 48.75 cents to $15.1075 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle lost 1.45 cents to 91.20 cents a pound; March feeder cattle slipped 0.02 cent to $1.0165 a pound; April lean hogs fell 1.95 cents to 56.85 cents a pound; March pork bellies shed 1.80 cents to 83.40 cents a pound.
