Agriculture Futures Rise on CBOT

[March 06, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded higher Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery added 17.5 cents to $11.05 a bushel; March corn rose 14 cents to $5.57 a bushel; March oats gained 1.25 cents to $4.28 a bushel; May soybeans advanced 2.25 cents to $15.085 a bushel.

Beef futures traded lower and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle declined 0.60 cent to 90.60 cents a pound; March feeder cattle dropped 0.75 cent to $1.0090 a pound; April lean hogs fell 0.08 cent to 56.77 cents a pound; March pork bellies rose 2 cents to 85.40 cents a pound.
