Agriculture Futures Fall on CBOT

[March 08, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded lower Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery fell 20 cents to $11.05 a bushel; March corn lost 23.5 cents to $5.335 a bushel; March oats declined 19 cents to $3.91 a bushel; May soybeans declined 50 cents to $14.0875 a bushel.

Beef futures traded higher and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle rose 0.57 cent to 90.52 cents a pound; March feeder cattle gained 0.80 cent to $1.0060 a pound; April lean hogs added 0.45 cent to 57.85 cents a pound; March pork bellies shed 3 cents to 81.50 cents a pound.
