[March 12, 2008]  The Lincoln Jaycees will host their annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday. The hunt is open to kids ages 1-10 and the fun begins at 1 p.m. at Latham Park. There will be goodies and prizes as well as a visit from Harvey the Easter Bunny.

A rain date is set for March 29, also at 1 p.m. at the park.

The Lincoln Jaycees, a not-for-profit organization serving Lincoln and the surrounding communities, gives young people between the ages of 18 and 40 the tools they need to build the bridges of success for themselves in the areas of business development, management skills, individual training, community service and international connections.

The Lincoln Jaycees host various community activities, such as the Easter egg hunt, Senior Feast, Breakfast with Santa and Angel Tree. The Jaycees have a variety of management and fundraising projects, such as Lincoln Art & Balloon Festival vendor, haunted house and Lincoln Speedway 50-50.

Membership meetings are the third Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. at the Moose Lodge. Meetings are open to the public.
