Mount Pulaski High School Senior-of-the-Month

[March 13, 2008]  MOUNT PULASKI -- Megan Volle has been named February Senior-of-the-Month at Mount Pulaski High School. She is the daughter of Louie and Becky Volle of Mount Pulaski.

Megan is senior class vice president, a member of student council and served on the prom committee her junior year. She has been a four-year member of the band and basketball team during high school. She has also been a four-year FFA member, winning section proficiency for two years and earning her state FFA degree.

In the community, Megan was a model for the Mount Pulaski Historical Society fashion show for two years. She has also taught Bible school and Sunday school for Zion Lutheran Church.

Megan plans to attend Lincoln Land Community College as a pre-veterinary major.

The Senior-of-the-Month program is sponsored by Johnson's Food Center and Mount Pulaski Pharmacy. Monthly winners receive $100 savings bonds and are eligible to compete for the $1,000 Senior-of-the-Year award.
