Wheat for May delivery rose 59.5 cents to $12.825 a bushel; May corn fell 5.25 cents to $5.6725 a bushel; May oats declined 0.75 cent to $4.0175 a bushel; May soybeans shed 12.75 cents to $13.95 a bushel.
Beef futures traded higher and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle gained 0.42 cent to 90.32 cents a pound; March feeder cattle added 0.02 cent to 99.77 cents a pound; April lean hogs lost 0.55 cent to 57.75 cents a pound; March pork bellies increased 0.50 cent to 80.20 cents a pound.
