Square and Round Dance Convention Comes to Lincoln

[March 18, 2008]  The Abraham Lincoln Tourism Bureau of Logan County is pleased to announce that the 25th Illinois Square and Round Dance Convention will take place here in Lincoln July 25-27. Lincoln Christian College has opened their doors to the convention, with activities at numerous locations on the campus.

In order to welcome these dancers to our community, the tourism bureau is working on visitor packets to be handed out at the convention registration. That's where your help is needed. The bureau is working on 600 bags for the group and would like to give the visitors a welcome bag worth remembering. If your business or organization has 600 magnets, ink pens, pencils, notebooks, or any such items with your logo on them, the tourism bureau would be glad to put them in the packets. All items must be received by July 1 at the Information Station, 1555 Fifth St.
