Agriculture Futures Fall on CBOT

[March 18, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded lower Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery declined 60 cents to $11.315 a bushel; May corn lost 20 cents to $5.3925 a bushel; May oats slipped 20 cents to $3.725 a bushel; May soybeans declined 50 cents to $13.0275 a bushel.

Beef futures traded lower and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle lost 1.28 cents to 89.22 cents a pound; March feeder cattle fell 0.20 cent to 89.22 cents a pound; April lean hogs added 0.88 cent to 55.90 cents a pound; March pork bellies dropped 0.65 cent to 78.10 cents a pound.
