"Gospel of Mark" presentation

DETAILS: Dramatic recitation of the Gospel of Mark, delivered orally, as it was originally intended to be heard. The performance will feature students from Lincoln Community High School. Free admission.

Easter egg hunt

WHO: Children up to 8 years old
DETAILS: With sunshine, the event will be on the Lincoln Park District driving range, and if it rains, the hunt will be on the tennis courts in the Sports Center. Ages from birth to 2 will begin at 10 am, 3-4-year-olds at 10:15, 5-6-year-olds at 10:30, with 7-8-year-olds going at 10:45. This event is free.

Bake sale

DETAILS: The First United Methodist Church Accessibility Committee will host the bake sale. Why make Easter desserts to take to the family gathering when you can buy them fresh the day before Easter? We will have a variety of cakes, pies and cookies available for your choosing. Come early and get the best selection. Proceeds go to fundraising for improving handicap accessibility at the church. Please come and support us, and enjoy the goodies as well.

All donations are used locally for the Foster Care Program for Logan, Menard, Mason, Macon and Fulton counties. The goal is to provide for families’ basic needs at times of crisis.
