[March 21, 2008]  Steve Aughenbaugh, president of the State Bank of Lincoln, has announced the promotion of Dave Irwin to vice president and farm manager.

Irwin is the department head for the commercial and installment loan department. He has an extensive background in agriculture in Logan County and has been with the bank since 2003. He is currently enrolled to attend the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin in the fall.

Aughenbaugh was also pleased to announce the hiring of Steve Kraft as a loan officer. Kraft has joined State Bank as a loan officer and credit analyst in the commercial loan department.

Kraft, who has been employed at a community bank in Morton the past two years, is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in finance. He is currently residing in Peoria, but will soon be moving to the Lincoln area, along with his wife, Katie.

"Steve Kraft is an excellent addition to our loan department at the State Bank of Lincoln, Aughenbaugh said.
