 LCHS Senior of the Month

Kristen Marten of Lincoln was selected as the
February Senior of the Month at Lincoln Community High School. Her school activities have included Spanish Club, poms, tennis,
Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Educators of America and
National Honor Society.She is very active in the community as
well, including volunteer work with the Community Health Fair,
Lincoln/Logan County Food Pantry, Lincoln Art & Balloon Festival,
Relay For Life, Zonta, Halloween Fun Fest, skate park fundraising,
Easter Seals and tutoring at Washington-Monroe School. She is also
active with volunteer work with Holy Family Church.

She plans to attend Missouri State University and pursue a degree
in pre-physical therapy and sports medicine.
Logan County Bank sponsors the LCHS Senior of the Month/Year
award and scholarship program. Each monthly winner receives a $50
U.S. savings bond from Logan County Bank and is then eligible for a
$1,500 scholarship awarded by the bank to be used at the college of
the winner's choice.
