United Way hosts pork chop sandwich meal Thursday

[May 05, 2008]  The United Way of Logan County is sponsoring a drive-through dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Farm Bureau parking lot, 120 S. McLean St. The menu offers a butterfly pork chop sandwich, baked potato and vegetable.

Tickets are $6 each and may be purchased in advance from United Way board members or by calling Lois at the United Way office, 735-4499. Office hours are 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday.

Board members are Stuart Churchill, Marsha DallaValle, Mary Elston, Mary Beth Jackson, Joe Haning, Sandy Meinershagen, Sheila Nelson, Wallace Reifsteck and Rick Wyatt.
