An abrupt change in weather allowed spectators to enjoy a beautiful day at Logan County's second annual Airport Daze on Sunday. The 11 a.m.-4 p.m. event hosted by Heritage In Flight saw a steady stream of visitors.

At noon, activities were paused for a "Salute to our veterans."

Following the trumpet call to the colors, played by John Sutton, Sen. Larry Bomke offered a few words of praise.

The brief ceremony continued with four local men -- Robert "Bob" Huff (posthumous), Tom Wachtel, Marvin Boss and Don Donath -- recognized for their service to country and for their efforts toward preserving our military heritage. The honorees and their families are pictured.
