A wet and windy Mother's Day

[May 12, 2008]  Families in the Logan County area celebrated a windy Mother's Day on Sunday. The maximum wind gust reached 37 mph, and the maximum wind speed reached 23 mph. The high was only 55 degrees and the rainfall reached 1.22 inch, providing a cold and wet day.

Terry Storer, from the Logan County Emergency Management Agency, said Monday that there was no reported damage in the area. Latham and Elkhart reported small power outages late Sunday  morning.
