Through mutual aid, multiple
agencies provided air, ground and water searches all last week. On
Saturday there were five boats searching the creek. Four boats were
out on Sunday. The Illinois Department of Natural Resources has
committed to continue with their boats through Friday this week.
It is hoped that the floodwaters that have impeded the search
might recede. Some key areas, such as near the railroad trestle have
up to 14-foot swales that have inhibited the search of the water,
Fulscher said.
The Logan County Sheriff's Department is the lead agency in the
missing person case.
