[November 04, 2008]  PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Philadelphia is preparing for an exhibit of works by postimpressionist painter Paul Cezanne and the artists he influenced.

The show is called "Cezanne and Beyond" and will open at the Philadelphia Museum of Art in February. It will be the exhibition's only world viewing.

The show includes about 60 Cezanne paintings, plus paintings by Picasso, Matisse and others who were influenced by Cezanne.

Interim Museum Director Gail Harrity calls it a "once-in-a-generation opportunity."

Tickets will be timed in an effort to control the expected large crowd. Tickets are on sale now for museum members and available to the public on Nov. 15.
