Ag futures trade higher on Chicago Board of Trade

[November 05, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were higher in midday trading Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

DonutsWheat for December delivery rose 12 cents to $5.740 a bushel; December corn gained 14 cents to $4.170 a bushel; December oats added 8 cents to $2.440 a bushel; and November soybeans rose 28.75 cents to $9.570 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures were mostly lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle lost 0.37 cent to 92.95 cents a pound; November feeder cattle fell 0.30 cent to 99.40 cents a pound; December lean hogs rose 0.30 cent to 54.70 cents a pound; and February pork bellies slid 0.80 cent to 83.10 cents a pound.
