[November 19, 2008]  A portion of County Highway 17, north of U.S. 136, will be closed for construction beginning this week. This road is also known as 1100th Avenue. This one-mile section of roadway will be pulverized and strengthened by placing additional rock on the surface. Several culverts along the roadway will also be replaced.

HardwareLocal residents will be allowed access during construction, but the road will be closed to all other traffic.

The public's cooperation is always appreciated. Thank you in advance for your patience during this construction.
