Agriculture futures trade lower on CBOT

[November 21, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were lower Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery slid 15.25 cents to $5.1175 a bushel; December corn fell 15 cents to $3.6375 a bushel; December oats lost 10 cents to $2.0625 a bushel; and January soybeans sank 41 cents to $8.56 a bushel.

Beef futures traded mixed and pork futures were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle rose 1.6 cents to 85.8 cents a pound; November feeder cattle lost 0.77 cent to 94.8 cents a pound; December lean hogs gained 0.88 cent to 56.8 cents a pound; and February pork bellies advanced 3 cents to 87.6 cents a pound.
