[November 29, 2008]  Lincoln – Regina T. Sabo, 94, of Lincoln died at 2:35 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2008 at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mt. Pulaski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family with Rev. Jeffrey G. Laible officiating.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the church on Wednesday.

Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lincoln with full Military Rites accorded by the Lincoln American Legion Post #263.

Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln is in charge of arrangements.

Regina T. Sabo was born on August 23, 1914 in East Chicago, Indiana the daughter of John and Anna Muha Sabo.

Ms. Sabo was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was preceded in death by her brothers: Andrew Sabo, Robert Sabo, and Albert Sabo.

Ms. Sabo was a Registered Nurse. She served in the United States Army as a First Lieutenant during World War II. She was assigned to the 25th Hospital Train.

Memorials may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church.
